THE BIG HOUSE

Article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:

"Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancement and its benefits."

THE BIG HOUSE is Caerleon's new multi-artist project that celebrates the freedoms bestowed upon all humans being by the Universal Delclaration of Human Rights which celebrates it's 61's anniversary on December 10th..

THE BIG HOUSE, slang for prison, is just that -- A bleak gray institution surrounded by an oversized barbed wire fence and four guard towers that keep watch on 24 prison cells in which artists from around the world have created art installations that take on the 30 articles from the Universal Declaration of Human rights.

Incorporating various artistic styles and interpretations, including streaming video, the "imprisoned" artists demonstrate how our creative impulses, imaginations and spirit can liberate us from all prisons -- whether they be physical, political, social, economical or even virtual.

L'evento è organizzato con la preziosa collaborazione di Aloisio Congrejo e Tani Thor della Tanalois Gemini Isle. AdOpera è PIAZZA GRANDE, un luogo d'incontro aperto. AdOpera è un grande PALCO che ospita eventi musicali e culturali. AdOpera è CRIPTA ART GALLERY, lo spazio espositivo per artisti esseelliani ed erreelliani. AdOpera è ACCADEMIA che aiuta i nuovi utenti e propone diversi corsi e-learning. AdOpera è NAOS CLUB, la discoteca sul mare con due piste indipendenti. TOWARDS THE FUTURE is a fully immersive installation created at Burning Life.
We are proud to invite you to enjoy the colorful atmosphere we have built in one of the 12 camps of Art Department.

For a better fruition of the work, here there are some tips:
- Environment setting: Midnight;
- Move inside the space as you like, you can walk to the top through the light blue path or fly through colors
- Don't miss the fire ball at the top, simply click on it and you will roll down through, sounds, music, colorful shapes
- Once you get the floor you've got few seconds to stand up or.......... roll down again :) and the view will be always different!

We hope you won't miss it!

Siamo Lieti di invitarvi a godere dell'atmosfera ricca di colori che abbiamo realizzato in uno dei 12 campi dell'Art Department.

Per una fruizione ottimale dell'opera eccovi alcuni suggerimenti:
- Environment setting: Midnight;
- Muovetevi all'interno dello spazio liberamente, camminate verso l'alto lungo la passerella azzurra o volate attraverso le forme colorate;
- Giunti in cima clickate sulla palla infuocata e rotolerete giù tra suoni, musica e colori fino alla base
- Avete pochi secondi a disposizione per staccarvi dalla Ball. In alternativa..... rotolate nuovamente giù :) e la visione sarà sempre diversa!

TOWARDS THE FUTURE est une installation totalement immersive créé au Burning Life.
Nous sommes fièrs de vous inviter à vivre l'ambiance colorée que nous avons réalisée dans l'un des 12 camps du département Art .

Pour profiter au mieux de l'oeuvre, voici quelques conseils :
- Mettez SL en environnement minuit
- Déplacez vous dans l'espace à votre guise. Vous pouvez marcher vers les haut par le chemin bleu clair, ou voler à travers les couleurs.
- Ne manquez pas la boule de feu en haut, cliquez dessus pour rouler à travers les formes, les couleurs, l'ambiance sonore (sons et musique).
- Une fois arrivé au sol, vous avez quelques secondes pour vous lever....ou vous roulerez encore :-), à chaque fois l'effet visuel sera different !

Estamos orgullosos de invitarle a disfrutar de la atmósfera colorida que hemos construido en uno de los 12 campamentos de Departamento de Arte.

Para un mejor disfrute de la obra, aquí hay algunos consejos:
- Environment setting: Midnight;
- Mover el interior del espacio como quiera, se puede caminar hasta la parte superior a través de la ruta azul claro o volar a través de los colores
- No se pierda la bola de fuego en la parte superior, simplemente haga clic en él y le baje a través de sonidos, música, y formas colorido
- Una vez que llega al suelo tienes unos segundos para ponerse de pie o .......... baje de nuevo:) y de la vista será siempre diferente!

Esperamos que no se lo pierda!
